4 days (3 nights) programme offer for groups of at least 8 people, from airport to airport

Day 1

Arrival to the airport, where a hostess is waiting for the group with the minivan
Depending on the time of arrival, either a short visit to Budapest downtown or departure straight to the hotel (1 hour trip)
On arrival to Hotel Visegrád, while checking in, we welcome you with a glass of Hungarian white wine and freshly baked Hungarian snacks
Dinner at the hotel restaurant or on the terrace (soups and starters from buffet, main course and desserts from menu)
Following the dinner, guests can enjoy facilities of the hotel (spa, bowling alley, hotel bar)

Day 2

Budapest sightseeing tour with professional guiding in your selected language
Lunch on a boat floating on the Danube river offering a breathtaking view of the Buda hills and the historical Castle District
Free time with shopping in the downtown area
Trip back to the hotel in the afternoon, 5-course degustation menu in the hotel restaurant with tasting of Hungarian wine (5 x 1dl wine included) and pálinka as digestive (3 x 0,2dl pálinka included)

Day 3

Sightseeing in the Danube bend area surrounding Visegrád, including the Open Air Ethnographic Museum and the largest cathedral of the country
During the programme, a barbecue lunch is included in one of the most spectacular meadows of the Pilis forest located next to a stream with traditional Hungarian dishes cooked in kettle
After a short break in the hotel, guests visit the original 13th century Lower Castle of Visegrád including the 33-meter-high Solomon's tower featuring a unique, thrilling Knights' Tournament with Hungarian bows, battlestars, spears, a falconer and exciting face-to-face battles between the knights of the Saint George Order
Following the tournament, the evening continues with a royal feast in the famous Renaissance Restaurant. Waiters in costumes, live lute music, roasts in platter in the middle of the table and wine from the king's cellar take you back to the 15th century renaissance royal court of King Mátyás
On the way back to the hotel, we stop at the flood-lit Royal Palace for a Hungarian pálinka in the famous summer home of the king

Day 4

Following breakfast, trip to the airport (optionally a programme or a lunch can be included in Budapest if time allows)

Day 3

Following breakfast we reach Esztergom by a 20-minute busride. Visiting the largest cathedral of Hungary, then we row down the Danube with a catamaran canoe trip until we reach Visegrád. On the way we stop for lunch on an uninhabited island of the Danube, where a barbecue with real Hungarian goulash cooked in kettle

Day 4

Sightseeing in the surroundings of Visegrád with guiding and hiking to the Citadel
Following the programme, a picnic lunch is included in one of the most spectacular meadows of the Pilis forest located next to a stream with traditional home-made sausages, salami, cheese and fresh vegetables

Following breakfast, bicycle tour on the Szentendre island stretching from Visegrád to Budapest, crossing the river twice
Sightseeing in the atmospheric town of arts of Szentendre, then a light lunch in a cozy downtown restaurant
After lunch, visiting the largest open air museum of Hungary, the famous Skanzen. It offers hundred-year-old furnished houses from all regions of Hungary completely rebuilt, open to the public with guiding
Return to the hotel by bicycle or bus depending on the decision of the group

Day 6

After breakfast, free time in the hotel, or optionally a sports game depending on the group
Light lunch in the hotel restaurant, trip to Budapest, free time with shopping in the downtown area
„Budapest by night” boat dinner and trip on the Danube with the flood-lit Budapest in the background
Bar hopping in Budapest or trip back to the hotel
